Is this thing a complete waste of money? Is or more likely to cause problems? I do not have the $ for a real LSD so should who can say good things or bad thins about this product? BTW I haven't broke the 200whp barrier yet. Thanks for the info

Unless you can pull your own tranny, crack it open and install the thing yourself, your going to be paying someone $200-$500 just to do the install.
Save your money for a Quaiffe or Kaaz. Do it at the same time you upgrade/replace the clutch to save even more installation charges.

Not... just two more parts to help break shit when your diff fails.
Save your money and buy a Quaife. Be gentle on the car until then.

sorry more info clutch is new. center force dual friction w/10,000 miles and it holds like a rock. so really is it a good piece or not?

I have the Phantom Grip and I've had no problems with it at all. I've had it on my car for over 20,000 miles and I still pull even tire mark burnouts. :-) I've never pushed above 210 horses though so who knows with more power. I've had no diff problems at all (knock on wood). If I decide to add more power I may swap it out however.

I think the only breakage concerns come into play when roadracing/autoxing. Like when your in a turn full throttle through transition turns(slalom)and the PG cant handle the transfer of power as effectively as a "real" LSD.
Drag racing, i dont see a problem with it.
